| The Old Silver Band is neither "Old", nor "Silver". Many may not even consider them a full "Band". Truth be told, the OSB is an acoustic duo from Massachusetts consisting of brothers Matt and John Beninghof. Having grown up under the same roof it wasn't until recently they discovered the talent and presence they possess together on a stage. The combination of John's percussive folk/reggae/rock guitar styling and Matt’s more traditional back-woods/ folk/bluegrass flavor has lead them to coin their style of music as "beach-grass." Though they perform mostly as a duo, at times they pull together as many as 4 or 5 other musicians to round out the line-up. The OSB has just completed their debut EP and it’s taken the nation by storm!!!! Or... as fast as itunes/carrier pigeons can get them out there. |
