| Jamie McLean is best known as the guitarist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. He has toured from Tokyo to Tulsa with the godfathers of New Orleans Brass Bands and has shared the stage with Widespread Panic, Taj Mahal, Galactic, North Mississippi Allstars, Dr. John and many others. Over the past 2 years Jamie has stepped away from the Dozen to pursue the Jamie McLean Band which features his blazing guitar work and soulful vocals in an original rock, soul, funk setting. The band has toured with Taj Mahal, Galactic, Mofro, North Mississipi Allstars and many others. "This Time Around" is the group's most recently CD release and look for a follou up record in 2007. |
