i'm a 33 year old who refuses to grow up (like most of my other friends...you all know who you are)...mother to a beautiful, delightful, precious, and amazingly wise 1 year old son, Liam Eamon (means 'guardian of the riches'...and i didn't mean money when i chose it)...i live in a beautiful hollow in middle tennesee with my husband and son and a zoo of animals (3 dogs, 8 cats, 2 rabbits, and a betta fish (i used to have a black widow spider, but she just recently passed)...plus the rescues that come and,hopefully go)...i hate politics, claim no party, but do keep an eye on what's going on b/c i can't stand how our government 'works', or rather doesn't...i'm a really down-to-earth person, i normally hate drama, unless it's not violent and really REALLY good, -evil grin- sometimes some good WTF drama is quite entertaining (if it doesn't involve me)...i have a hard time with stupid people (not ignorant...there's a difference...stupid people know better...ignorant people don't)and i have difficulties with people who PRESENT THEMSELVES AS SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT (i find that most dishonorable)...i'm a great listener and love to talk about numerous things, however, i can't stand talking to people who interrupt and are more worried about what they have to say next than listening to what i have to say...conversation takes both or no one gains ANYTHING (i generally just let them rattle off for a short while and pretend to be interested, i don't want to be rude, then use one of my many escapes)... no...really...i'm not a true people hater...i love people, a large part of my life has revolved around taking care of people...before i had my son, i spent 10 years working with, and learning from, people who have mental disabilities (didn't pay much...but i didn't care...i got to influence and improve many a person's quality of life...and had alot of fun)...i love to be silly and a smart ass...you'll find i also can be really crass and raunchy (i can't help it...i love to be bad)...i'm really laid back and try to keep it that way...i have a big heart with lots of room to love and i try to let people know that (especially those dear to me)...also, i consider myself very lucky to have such a loving family and group of friend-families...i love you all...also, i'm on MySpace...my URL is http://www.myspace.com/EarthChyld...i'd love to be friends on there as well!! | *most anything outdoors that doesn't involve me throwing myself from any extreme height (sky diving, for example, the only time you'd see me in a parachute was if the plane was going down)...i particularly love to hike, trail blaze, camp, cave, canoe, and raft (damn i love that white water)*exploring my back yard...we have 20 acres of cedar forest...i LOVE it! the bird watching is incredible! look close and you'll see a deer * i also love plants and have started a collection of succulents (mostly jades...thank you Guild for being so generous and helpful) * photography has been a passion of mine since childhood thanks to my uncle...i started out taking photos with an old Brownie...i particularly love black and white photography * as long as i can remember i have been very passionate about animals (both wild and domestic)...i'm involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation and hope to soon obtain a rehabbers' license... *spiritual growth is very important to me...my main path is the Red Road (or some call it Earthway)...even when studying other paths, native spirituality has always called me back...i love to see, feel, and hear all that Ina Maka (Mother Earth) has to tell us (if we stop long enough to pay attention)*************************** |
