The Austin-based four-piece played their first show in December 2007 and immediately signed a deal with Justice Records.
Before their self-titled debut album even hit stores last August, ELECTRIC TOUCH rocked the stages of Coachella, Bonnaroo, SXSW, Lollapalooza and The Austin City Limits Festivals in addition to completing a US tour with The Fratellis and The Airborne Toxic Event last fall. As 2009 opened, the band debuted at 1 on FMQB’s Commercial Specialty SubModern chart with their new single, “Sounds From The Underground”, beating out The Killers, Kings of Leon and Franz Ferdinand, among others. |
